Sixth graduating class of the Master’s degree in Social Sciences at prestigious universities

Most graduates of the first six graduating classes of the Master’s in Social Sciences have opted to continue with doctoral or specialised studies. Some of them have entered the Doctorate in Social Sciences at the Carlos III University. Others have opted for alternative universities.

Students from the first six graduating classes are currently studying at Oxford University, Yale University, the European University Institute in Florence, New York University, the University of Mannheim, the Graduate Institute in Geneva, the University of Vienna, the University of Minnesota, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, as well as at UC3M.

In collaboration with the Department of Social Sciences and the Figuerola Institute, both at the Carlos III University, the Max Weber Lectures feature renowned researchers whose work is of general interest in the Social Sciences, beyond the usual disciplinary boundaries between sociology, political science and economics.

A session will take place in fall 2023:

19 October: Adrian Favell (University College Cork, Ireland). “Social Polarisation, Red Walls and Bat Signals: How Social Science Helped Make Brexit and Boris Johnson”

The lectures are open to the entire academic community.
